“That the eyes of your understanding being enlightened that you may know, what is the hope of your calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints and what is the exceeding greatness of His power towards us who believe according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named not only in this age, but also in that which is to come.” (Ephesians 1:18)
I remember someone saying to me once “you’re so heavenly minded that you are no earthly good”. The more I run this race, I am seeing that just the opposite is actually true. We must be more heavenly minded to be any earthly good!Ephesians 1:18-21 should be a heavy revive scripture for us. It will be my meditation this week, and I hope you join me in spending some time meditating on it. Just a few things that God has in store and is releasing to help us become more heavenly minded:
- That the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened that you may know… Wow, Father desires that our spiritual eyes be illuminated so that the murkiness clears away that we would know!
- One of the primary things He wants us to know is “the hope of our calling as sons and daughters”, that the spirit of adoption as sons would reign in us. No more doubt, no more confusion, no more orphan thoughts. We are His forever!
- We will recognize and experience the riches of His glory of His inheritance (we are His inheritance) in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power towards us who believe…
I believe that Father has a greater release of His power towards us ready to engage! Let’s receive more of Father, and all He is, as we pray.
